Clay shooting (also known as clay pigeon shooting or clay target shooting) is a shotgun sport, where people shoot clay targets with shotguns.

Game shooting is the most common form of live quarry shooting. This can be split into numerous areas such as driven shooting or walked up shooting.
Types of Game birds include pheasant, partridge, grouse, snipe and woodcock, as well as others.

There is no legally specified minimum age, however at The Women’s Shooting Network, we recommend the age of 12 and above to come shooting at our events. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss this or have any questions!
